Hotel Rural Brícia Du Mar

This is a new (2021) complex on a hill about 1 mile out of Ferragudo. Everything is brand new, and it is a very tranquil setting – the rooms all look out on a beautiful grassy lounge area under palm trees, with a large & small pool and bar. Did I mention it is tranquil!? The rooms are average size with all the modern amenities. The bathroom was a bit small, but well organized. The staff are exceptionally helpful, friendly, and most speak very good English…we had a couple of special requests and Victoria and Matheus went above and beyond with courtesy and professionalism!! The Breakfast is standard and freshly prepared, with several additions (e.g. sautee’d mushrooms, stewed tomatoes, sausage, beans). The best we’ve had in our 4 weeks all over Portugal! The big deal: Parking is free, with a garage and also outdoor parking, and the spaces are quite generously sized…thank you! Wifi/internet was good

The entire stay far exceeded all of our expectations!! The employees are all extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating! The rooms are extremely spacious and very clean. The kitchenette is perfectly equipped. On our last evening we ate in the restaurant - excellent service and super tasty dishes! The location is also amazing - walking distance to three stunning beaches and also the cute town Ferragudo is just 10 min away. We had a blast and will definitely come back!! This is a beautiful hotel with an excellent restaurant. We loved the patio outside our door, even though we didn’t use it much because the weather was a little cool. Same can be said for the pool, which was cold (we were there the end of February!). The bed was comfy, pillows were great, and the staff were particularly helpful. Parking was outside, but felt secure.

Completely refurbished, everything was new! Beautifully landscaped, large infinity pool, wonderful location on the top of a small hill with views toward the sea and the Monchique mountains. Good location to go into the pretty town of Ferrugudo with excellent restaurants and the Praia Grande beach very close by. The staff were so friendly and professional, the rooms were spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds and pillows, soft fluffy towels and very modern shower room. Relaxing beside the pool with palms swaying and delicious, buffet breakfast.
